Impressed!

How do you spell impressive? D-o-c-t...now what, that is impressive. Haha. Oh, I can't help it. I'm just a little exhilarated. Animated. Infatuated with David Tennant, whatever you like. Doctor Who, best TV show in the Universe, ever, in history, swooped the NTA (aka National Television Awards) yet again, and did exactly the same as the ingenius top scoring player on Norway's Best soccer team Brann, Thorstein Helstad (whom I also fancy, quite a bit); they scored a proper hat-trick! For the third year in a row, my favourite programme took home the prize for Best Drama and David got his well-deserved gong for Best Actor. His second, and the Doctor's third distinction of honour. They're unbeatable. Invincible. Immensely fabulous. Unfortunately, Freema Agyeman lost out in the category for Best Actress and didn't quite live up to Billie's two-time success story. What an immense pity. *Cough.* A bit of a proof, though; I don't intend to be mean, but she really doesn't deserve the same recognition as Bill' the Brill'. Billie ma Belle. That simply wouldn't have been right; and that goes without anything personal implied. As observed during the following thank you-seance, she was very grateful for the Best Drama-award and struck a sweet and charming pose. Not that used to the limelight yet, but she's getting there. And she had a calm, safe companion by her side to lead her on and off stage in style, with her head held high. After all, David's beginning to get some experience with the whole winning-part. What's so great about DT, however, is that he's so far from being blasé or bored with the crowd. He's always overwhelmed by their support, he thanks them personally, he's very touched, and he doesn't hesitate to show it. That's why he's loved by every Briton, and myself too. He said, in his speech, that he and Freema wanted to take a tour around the room and kiss everyone. I think I saw someone fainting just then. Regretfully, the two of them "didn't have time". Lol. Moreover, he gave a very moving speech after winning the Best Actor-prize, providing a teary nod to his late mother, Helen, to whom he also dedicated the award. He credited her, the ever-so-loyal fans and producers Russel T. Davies & co. for the impressive achievement. And every fangirl in the room was close to swooning with delight. What a man! A true gentleman, and indeed an act of merit on display. In other words; the Awards lived up to my every expectation. Finally, a jury which seems to know what they're doing. I'm surprised that any such even exist. In fact, lots of winnings this autumn, and lots of things for a devoted fangirl to be excessively happy about. Life is what you make of it, pleasure holds no measure. Or official scale. I'll squeal about the "less important stuff" just as much as I like, and whenever I may wish to, thank you very much. Plus, Award Shows can still be fun. Obviously. MiA: RTD, Julie Gardner and Phil Collinson. Where were you guys on the big night??? Probably in Cardiff...I should think...David reportedly stated that there was no time for partying that evening, since he was going straight back to Wales and filming sessions with Kylie for the Christmas Special, a fact in which we should all rejoice! Here's some moments of amazement from late night 31st of October; David, Freema and a couple of other celebs on stage:
