Fairly loved-up tales

Heavily inspired by the brilliant film reviewed below, this is my hommage to the love affair of Giselle and McDreamy - sorry - Robert. A love-filled little piece that's not very...subtle, I suppose, or particularly fanciful, just plain and illustrative, the way I intended. I've turned to "easier poetry", whatever that might mean and give notice of. Indications of a Po(t)etic change? Heck, I'm not sure, but I sense a familiar tone, which is good. Something essentially Scara-like lurks within, same thing that I detected in the reviews, and that's truly a comfort. Don't wish to lose my knack, no matter if it's clever or rubbish; I need that special touch which is so inescapably personal. Anyway, or hence, I post what I want and this is what I wanted today:

"Enchantment"
By Scaramouche, the Po(t)et, and officially addicted to love story adventure fairytale parodies with a funny and original twist. Puh. Me loves stuff like "10th kingdom", "Princess Bride", "Ella Enchanted", "Shrek", etc etc, all in the same tradition as "Enchanted"; and consequently "Enchanted" could never have failed. Adore the new takes on the classic materials!

to blink and in a flash be gone
from knowledge, truth, abruptly thrown
into the stronger arms of one
whose gallantry be measured not
in cloth or attitude but what
he hold most dear,
that his most precious lot
and find some answers, formerly
were questions never properly
brought up, construed incomprehensibly
she now, and ardently, betakes another road
neglecting not what's on her shoulder laid,
whichever load
that she must face, as finally she gets into her strode
an arm extended, cross the room
and swaying glances make her swoon
the long-awaited signs of fume
four dancing feet to relish in
reality and movement's fin
the course to which their faith will pin
intently spun as fortune wheels
misgive no chance this couple reels
won't be deceived, head over heels
read admiration for the stature
whilst clinging to his noble figure
she's drawn towards a loving nature
as dragons slayed, the evil queen
defeated, finally would seem
the prospect of a victory; to lean
onto the sight of battles won
at last to see the nearest aims are some
that will remain achievable, not done
what left, behold and seal the pact
with closure of the lips, intact
be passion, as notorious as happy ever after
for a fact
